So I am tired, but hey it was a productive day.  Here is my plan if you wanted to see it.  Today was my “Assembly Day”.  Here is a picture of what I did today:

Week 1 (posted on MPM):

Alfredo Manicotti, green beans or a salad and some garlic bread

Meatloaf, baked potatoes and salad

Bombay Chicken, rice and broccoli

Cheeseburger Roll Up and Salad

Free day – either homemade pizza, eat out or leftovers

Cheesy Beef and Rice, Corn and salad

Week 2:

Stromboli and salad (maybe green beans)

Panko Chicken, Rice Pilaf and salad (from my cooking club)

Burrito Pie, corn and salad

Sweet and Sour meatballs, rice and broccoli

Free day – either homemade pizza, eat out or leftovers

BBQ chicken sandwiches (from cooked frozen chicken), homemade french fries and salad

Week 3:

Chicken Nuggets,oven roasted diced potatoes and salad

Alfredo Manicotti, salad and garlic bread

Cheeseburger Roll up, broccoli

Freezer meal from my cooking club and vegetables

Free day – either homemade pizza, eat out or freezer meal from my cooking club

Creamy Chicken Casserole (from the precooked shredded chicken and homemade cream of soup mix),  green beans and rolls

Week 4:

Cheesy Beef and Rice casserole, corn and salad

Tacos (from either frozen chicken or beef and tortillas), corn, taco fixings and sour cream

Stromboli, salad or green beans

Freezer meal from cooking club

Burrito Pie and corn and salad

Free day – either homemade pizza, eat out or leftovers

Chicken Bombay and rice and broccoli

Sunday’s will usually be  a crock pot day.  I have several roasts in my freezer.   My husband could have roast, mashed potatoes and rolls every Sunday so that is usually what I will fix.

We are pretty simple people.  I am not creative in the vegetable department – broccoli, carrots, corn, salad, green beans – this is what we like so I stick with it.  Except Sunday’s I will probably throw in some yummy black eyed peas – oh man you have to have that with Sunday dinner and of course a hoe cake!  I love the south – now those people know how to cook – bring on the bacon grease!
