Well, yesterday I finished my maternity skirt using this tutorial. It really was VERY easy and fun to make. Obviously it is not very fancy. I thought putting Ric Rac on my skirt might be a bit much. I am thinking of making some more, but I would like to make me and my little girl matching aprons first and later I would like to make a nursing cover using this tutorial.
Anyway, that was my project for the weekend. If you know of some fun sewing projects, please pass them on. I am always on the lookout for somthing new.

What a great project! I am in the market for some maternity projects myself, my existing maternity wardrobe is strictly for winter, and I am due in August!

Great skirt! I am 17 weeks along and I want to make a few, but I can’t find 3 in. elastic anywhere for a decent price. Can you lead me in the direction of where you got yours? Thanks.
